Andrew McCormick

Andy McCormick is a civil trial lawyer who practices primarily in civil litigation, including the prosecution and defense of individuals and businesses involved in disputes, construction disputes, deceptive trade practices causes of action, property, and contract disputes. Mr. McCormick was named a Super Lawyer in the State of Texas by Texas Monthly in 2008 through 2016 and is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings, the highest rating possible. Mr. McCormick’s clients include individuals, families, construction companies,entrepreneurs, and businesses. His passion is in representing those individuals who feel overwhelmed by the judicial system. Mr. McCormick has successfully taken many complex cases to trial, to both Judge and jury. He has tried cases throughout the State of Texas as well as outside Texas. Mr. McCormick is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He earned this certification in 1991 and has been re-certified each successive period. Mr. McCormick received his B.A. from Montclair State University in New Jersey in 1981 and his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1984. Mr. McCormick is a member of the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists. McCormick is a current member of the Civil Trial Law Exam Commission of the Texas Bar

Laurie Munoz

Mrs. Munoz is a litigation attorney with the firm. A native of Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Houston at Clear Lake, majoring in Humanities and Legal Studies. She earned a Juris Doctorate degree in May 2012 from Texas Southern University, TMSL. Laurie began her legal career as a secretary in 1990. For over 20 years, she has worked directly with Andrew McCormick and has assisted him in over 100 trials. Laurie has always had a passion for helping people. She takes her client's legal problems seriously and helping them becomes very personal to her.

Laurie has also worked as a law clerk for McCormick, Lanza & McNeel, LLP. She became an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas in May of 2013.
